Artist's Description
20"x24" Acrylic Painting on Canvas, The Ship has sailed into stormy seas but that's the least of her problems. Ahead waits the Sea Dragon waiting to bring the ship and crew to the bottom of the ocean.
This painting was started in 2014 and titled Stormy Seas. It was a fun painting to play with and a break from my normal folk art style. I kept it hanging in my room and I would look at it and think about what was happening on the ship and how the crew might survive their journey. One day I thought that ship should run into a sea monster, that would make the story even better. So in the last two months I decided to add that sea monster. This is the result. Who know in 2022 I might add something else to it....unless someone buys it.
